The Suiattle is a totally secluded river that tumbles from the base of Glacier Peak to its confluence with the Sauk River eighty-five miles northeast of Seattle, Washington.  Colberg Whitewater Expeditions guides personalize your adventure through this pristine drainage area by using small six-person paddle rafts and limiting launches to two rafts per trip.  This practice allows for flexibility and serenity while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Full Day Trips on the Suiattle River are our most popular expeditions and average about three hours on the water.  During this odyssey, we also take time for riverside exploration and swimming if conditions allow.  Guides on this expedition have completed Colberg Whitewater Expeditions Suiattle River Guide Training program. In addition to having honed their guiding skills, each is extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area's rich foliage, wildlife, geology, hydrology, ecology, and Native American history.

Suiattle River Level

The best whitewater rafting on the Suiattle River is during May, June, and July.  Early June is exciting if you're interested in heavier rapids.  Mid-July to Mid-August are pleasant if you would like warmer temperatures with brighter sunshine.
